what kind of books and other items do you pickup?

all books: old, new, hardcover, softcover, children's books, textbooks, all genres.  DVD's, CD's, audiobooks, records, video games, video game consoles, puzzles & board games.

what do you do with the books?

we sell books to support our free book pickup service.  most of the books we receive are sold in our low cost book sales, putting your books directly back into our community.  we giveaway at least 10% of all books that are given to teachers, schools and organizations in our community.

how should i get the books ready for you?

please place the books in boxes or bags that are light enough for one person to carry.

when will you be coming?

we ask everyone to have their items out by 8am. we will be by to pick them up between 8am and 8pm. we cannot guarantee a specific time as there are many factors that could determine when we get to your address on your pickup day.

what if it is going to rain or snow?

just make sure the books are covered or place them in a covered area. items can be covered with a tarp or placed in sealed trash bags(we will be sure to leave your tarp behind).  if your items will be in a different place than originally scheduled, just sent us a text to let us know.

how many books can i give at one time?

as many as you would like, no limit.  if you have a big collection, please let us know so we can plan to arrive with the right vehicle.

can i schedule for multiple days?

absolutely. if you need us to get some books out of your way as you prepare others, no problem.  just fill out the request form for each day and we will be there.

what is your pickup area?

our current pickup area is hamilton, butler and clermont counties in ohio and boone, kenton and campbell counties in kentucky.

are you a non-profit?

we are not a non-profit. we are a local family business that offers a free community pickup service.  if you need a tax form, you may want to take your books to a 501(c)(3) organization.  if a tax form is not needed, we can pick up your books for free.
